Wireless Android Auto - Audio Skipping

Per title - anyone else experiencing this?

I couldn't get it to stop doing this no matter what.  Saw someone asked about what port for wired connection, so tried USB, and that seemed to work fine.

I went ahead and routed a USB-C cable from the dedicated black port up next to my center console (figured I might as well since I tested the mic low and it seemed to work well enough - so I routed that behind the Rivian panel in front of the center console and up basically behind the steering wheel).

That said - I'd like the convenience of wireless, but the skipping is AWFUL most of the time, and no combination of tweaking settings seems to change that with any level of consistency.

In the AA/CP app, under Advanced Settings, have you set the Media Delay to 750?

@evplayadmin

I actually reset everything and left it at it's default (which I believe is 300) and so far it has seemed to be better, TBH.

I was not able to get a successful test without extreme audio choppiness prior to buttoning everything up.  I also ran multiple mic tests to see if I could get away with the mic or not - which I couldn't.

Also tested the wired connection prior to buttoning up, which I noticed seemed to work fine at 750 or 300.

Of potential note, any of the notifications from the integrated Android OS on the EVPLAY device seems to also crackle a lot - unsure if there may be a weird disconnect between internal audio streaming handoff to EVPLAY bluetooth connection beyond the AA/CP app?

Phone is a Pixel 9 Pro Fold.

@wricketts Per the known bug list in this forum there are definitely some improvements to be made on the audio side of AA. I am making progress and will be hopefully pushing an update soon.

@evplayadmin Thanks

Great to hear - look forward to trying out the update!

Otherwise, I'll be sure to share if I'm able to determine any particular rhyme or reason.
