Downloaded Amazon Prime to EVPlay through playstore. Installed and logged into it just fine. But when I go to watch a video (when parked) it automatically switches to the Rivian UI after a few seconds. Gen 2, GPS puck installed, car is in park, and I am located in an underground garage (no GPS signal). Any ideas?
Thanks

Does the GPS register speed and coordinates in the EV Play app? If not, make sure it's plugged into a white USB port.
Looks like we have a bug. GPS is properly inserted, and showing up in EV Play app, and displaying speed. When I am driving, it won't let me watch video (as designed). When stopped outside, it will let me watch Amazon Prime and Youtube (as designed). However, when I pull into a parking garage with no GPS signal, EV Play app displaying GPS "no fix" (because there is not GPS signal underground), it switches to the Rivian UI when I try to watch Amazon Prime or Youtube.
Can you please address by allowing video to play on EVPlay when there is "no fix" on the GPS? The main places I wanted to use video are parking garages that I frequent.
Thank you,
Frank

Not a bug, but more of a quandary with respect to simply bypassing the block by throwing the puck under the dash or seat to block the signal. At the end of the day, the puck is a short-term solution while I progress on CANbus on Gen2. I'm getting close...maybe another 2 weeks, if you can wait.
Before I purchased the EVPlay, I asked about this specific use case in a parking garage, and your reply on 7/19 was "To your question, yes, when there is no signal the device still functions and you can watch videos when you’re parked (underground or not)."
This was my main deciding factor for purchase of the EVPlay, and I would appreciate if you could make it work as you described last month.
Thank you,
Frank
