I reached out to the "Contact Us" link on the site yesterday and haven't heard back, so I'll try a post here.
Yesterday on a drive the EVPlay app kept closing and bugging out, and after I parked the car and came back the Rivian screen will no longer switch to the EVPlay UI. I've tried soft and hard resets on the car. The box's fan is spinning and there are blinking blue lights, and there is a clicking sound from the box when I press the display switch button.
Is it possible that the EVPlay app failed, and would that prevent it from taking over the Rivian screen? If so, is there a way for me to flash the box back to factory settings via USB without seeing the screen?
Bump for visibility. Any ideas Alex? This thing is currently just a paperweight in my truck.
@sparkles Just wanted to clarify the actual EV Play app was bugging out - can you clarify? Did it crash, was it flickering or? Any added details would be helpful!
@evplayadmin Hi, the EVPlay app force closed a few times, then reopened with a "this app has a bug, clear cache before reopening" message. I cleared the cache then left the car. The EVPlay hasn't appeared on the Rivian screen since, despite the fan running and blue light on.
