Hi Alex, EVplay working great and after a stop the phone wouldn't connect.  A message popped up on the screen to choose an app to run with USB.  There were 2 selections and I chose the first one (Autobox I think).  No connection with CarPlay.  If I opened the Autobox app nothing would happen if I tried to select either bluetooth or wifi but could select settings.  I rebooted everything (phone, car, EVplay) with no improvement.  I then deleted the Autobox from my phone to try to start over.  There was no open to add the EVPlay after extensive rebooting (ie no Autobox visible under CarPlay add device).  I then opened the EVplay app and updated the software (1.84 to 1.85).  I reset the AA/CP in the EVplay app.  Nothing visible.  Finally, I went into the Android settings and set to factory default.  Still nothing visible.  I haven't touched the cabling or connections so that isn't a problem.  Nothing is showing up (ie Autobox-xxx) in bluetooth or CarPlay.  I do see a new Autobox-xxx wifi network but that is it.  It asks for a password.  How can I get out of this mess?

Thanks

I had what I think is a similar issue, and I uninstalled the AutoKit app, then used this guide to reinstall it, and it fixed it for me:

I forgot to mention that now nothing works.  I can't get the wireless dongle to switch so I can't do anymore troubleshooting on the EVplay unit.

@mountainman Gotcha.   Do you know what IP address it has by chance?   I know that is probably a little far-fetched, but just asking, assuming that you have connected it to home WiFi.

@tjdavisbz Thanks for the reply.  I went into settings on the EVPlay unit and selected reset to factory default.  So it's not on any network and only transmitting a wireless SSID (Autokit-xxx).

@mountainman Okay.   I won't be able to tonight but in the morning I will try the AutoKit SSID and see if what I was going to have you do will work from that network, I'm not sure.   Maybe Alex will have something more certain for you to try before then.
