@evplayadmin about 50% of the time when entering the vehicle, the Auto-Mate app gets stuck on the orange "Connecting" status and never actually connects no matter how long I wait. This is a 2026 Rivian R1S Gen 2 with iPhone 17 Pro.
Everything worked great when I set it up the first time. I have a few automations that work as expected when the app can connect to the device. But anytime the app can't auto-connect, the automations obviously don't run.
I've attempted all the basic troubleshooting that you would expect. Hard reboot the iPhone, hard reboot the vehicle, re-pair the app to the device again, check the USB-C connection, etc. Rebooting the iPhone makes no difference at all. Rebooting the vehicle and/or reconnecting the USB-C cable will make the app detect the device during that session. But it's still a coin-flip whether it will auto-connect the next time I enter the vehicle.
This seems to be more on the Auto-Mate hardware/firmware side, since rebooting the iPhone had no effect.
