· Android Auto voice assistant can't hear you and you can't hear it (in progress) via Bluetooth direct. Workaround is having your Rivian paired with EV Play instead of your phone, and seeing Audio Channel to "Box" in the AutoPlay app settings (in progress).
· Android phones switch to EVP-Bluetooth when making/receiving calls making it so you cannot hear the caller and they cannot hear you. Workaround is having your Rivian paired with EV Play instead of your phone, and seeing Audio Channel to "Box" in the AutoPlay app settings (in progress).

· Auto-switching on GPS coordinates for Gen 2 (in progress).
· Auto-switching on Reverse and Park intermittent (in progress).
Regarding the voice assistant and phone calls audio issues, I assume this is an intermittent bug, or one not affecting all AA instances running on EV Play? The Gemini video you posted on the EV Play YouTube channel looked like it was working as expected.
This is one of the main features I am looking forward to as I did not want to link to Alexa, and I use the Google Assistant for voice texting while driving. Thanks!

This bug is relegated to a direct Bluetooth connection for Android phones. The current method is utilizing the included wired microphone, and pairing your Rivian with EV Play (vs. your phone).
@evplayadmin What about for CarPlay? I can get my podcasts to play on the Rivian speakers, but text messages and Siri do not play in the vehicle.
@richard8a Disconnect from CarPlay by turning off wifi on your phone, then in the AA/CP Autokit app settings (gear icon at the top left corner), go to Advanced Settings and select Audio Channel> Bluetooth. Then back out to the main screen and turn wifi back on, then reconnect. Let me know!
@evplayadmin That worked. Another setting that should be default or part of the installation setup instructions.

It is, but from what I'm gathering if one of the factory settings didn't stick, all of them didn't stick!
@evplayadmin Oh! Well…is there anything else I should go toggle? 😅
Would be a good idea to check:
Decoding Method: Software
Advanced Settings:
App Full Screen (Yes)
Audio Channel: Bluetooth
That's all we set.
@evplayadmin Thanks for posting these settings. My decoding method was correctly set to Software, but "App Full Screen" was off and "Audio Channel" was set to box. Fixed both - I was about to email you a screenshot of what Waze looked like when I first started it because you couldn't see the ETA in the bottom left of the screen until you jumped out of Waze and back in. Hopefully these changes will resolve that.
