If your phone is connecting to Android Auto/CarPlay outside of the vehicle - such as in your home or office - you can set the Connection Mode to "Manual" in the AA/CP app settings. Once you do that, you can initiate the Android Auto/CarPlay by either tapping on the Bluetooth icon in the AA/CP app, or, simply tap on the Autokit-xxxx Bluetooth connection on your phone.
