Volume for Navigation in Carplay

Hello All,

After a couple of months with EV Play, I still haven't figured out how to raise the volume of the navigation prompts.  In a regular CarPlay vehicle, when you hear the prompt, you can raise the volume to make the prompt louder.  The volume level changes color, notifying you that you are adjusting the navigation prompt volume.

In EV play, that doesn't work.  I've checked every menu in CarPlay settings, EV Play settings, and Auto Kit settings, and I haven't been able to make it louder.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

P.S. When I first transitioned to EV play, the touchscreen didn't work.  I have to transition back to Rivian display, wait 2 seconds, then switch back to EV play to get it to work.  Also, I have to tap the screen rapidly in the second round to get the touchscreen to work.  This method became more reliable after I disabled the auto-launch of the auto-kit.

@rjaiswal

Which navigation app is it?

For your touch screen issue, refrain from touching the screen for about 2 seconds after you switch between sources.

Waze, Google Maps. Apple Maps… all of them are too low.

As for the touchscreen, I’ve waited for a minute, and it’s not responsive. I still need to switch back to Rivian OS, wait 5 seconds, switch back, quickly tap the screen, and then it works. Sometimes I have to do it a third time for it to start working the first time. After that, switching back and forth works as expected. It’s only when you first start the vehicle, and want to use evplay that this happens.
