Proper Audio/Bluetooth Settings!

Feeling generally happy with my purchase and setup, Alex has been very helpful. 

the final spot I’m struggling is with audio settings. 

here’s what I’m trying to achieve -

1) Siri hears, talks and functions properly thru the rivian audio.

2) music plays through the rivian audio, and can be controlled via the steering wheel while also showing in CarPlay.

3) phone calls can be made and received through CarPlay via rivian audio.

4) CarPlay maps and other CarPlay notifications play through the rivian audio. 

when my phone is playing music through rivian audio, it works properly but Siri does not. She will hear my initial request, then not hear the followup  

not sure what Bluetooth needs to be connected where in EV play settings, rivian settings, my iPhone settings.

Strange, I haven't seen that or heard it to be an issue. I just tested it by playing Spotify, saying "Hey Siri" (music stops and she responds), asking her where the nearest post office is, she responds by asking if I want to go to a certain one, I say "nevermind," she disappears and the music resumes playing.

Something to check:

CarPlay uses in-call ("SCO") microphone routing...you should see the in-call indicator pop up on your instrument cluster every time she is listening for a command. Do you see that happening when she's listening during the follow up?
