I had my EvPlay installed today. The hardware seems to be working as designed. I am have issues but I believe they are user error.
Is it possible to have a step by step guide on how to pair an android. I watched the videos and thought I did it correctly but I can not get sound or the phone to work. I have tried multiple times.
The car will be used primarily for CarPlay by my wife. She is out of town so I haven't even started trying to make an IPhone work.
I can connect with a wired connection without sound, but wirelessly I am having problems all around.
I am getting pretty frustrated. Any help will be appreciated.
So, all the cables are attached. Installed the power cable, fan starts, I see blinking lights on the inside of EVPlay...but center console is black and nothing is displayed there. I've double checked my connections. Everything is snapped in. 🙁
Have you tried a hard reset (left steering wheel button and emergency flasher button)
Reattached cables to Rivian, center display worked fine. Reattached to EVPlay, still blank. Did a soft reset of center console and...eventually the Rivian display started up there.I then pushed the button on the "remote" for EVPlay, and it switched over to EVPlay. Phew.
@kimbrennan Good to hear that it is working. If the screen ever goes black, just long press the wireless button to wake it up!
