We use WLED modules to control LED strips on our roof rack-mounted twin 180 degree awnings. It would be awesome to control them from the main touchscreen. Unfortunately there are no WLED apps that currently natively support Apple Car Play, nor Android Auto. Perhaps an MVP is to sideload an AA WLED app onto EV Play. As long as the WLED controllers are on the same wifi as EV Play, I think it would work.

Very cool! Note that you don't have to use a CarPlay or Android Auto compatible app with EV Play. You can also use a native Android app on the device directly. I'm seeing one called "WLED - Native" in the Google Play store -- not sure if that would work?
@evplayadmin Yep, we're thinking about it the same way. I'm similarly curious if WLED Native loaded directly on the device, would allow us to use the touchscreen for control.

I don't see why it wouldn't!
