Way to add code-based automations

The current implementation of macros feels fairly limited. It's unrealistic to add every possible condition for every possible scenario, but I would like to create far more complex sequences. The easiest way to unlock more possibilities for advanced users might be to allow manual scripting via code.

Is there is a way to connect the device to a USB-C port on a computer and directly manage or upload files? Maybe this is already possible with some extra tinkering? If so, give me a starting point and I'll try to play around with it.
