The dongle is no longer connecting. Timing is interesting... correlation with 2026.15.0 system update.

Sent logs to Alex.

@seattlesteve Was a more detailed logging addition, you can ignore the update for now.

Hi, Alex,

Unfortunately, Auto-Mate connectivity is at an all-time low. I dedicate about 15 minutes every day to getting the dongle connected but it just doesn't work.

When working, the Auto-Mate is a sweet addition to the Rivian ownership experience. Any ideas to get things working again?

I think I've solved the connection issues. On my Pixel running Android 16, I changed these settings:

-->settings ->apps -> Auto-Mate:

--> App permissions-->Manage app if unused -->off

-->App battery usage-->Allow background usage-->on

-->Unused app settings-->Manage app if unused-->off

Yet one more setting that appears to be helping with connectivity, or at least helping to accurately show when the Auto-Mate app is not going to connect to the dongle:

Settings -->Notification organizer -->Don't include these apps-->Auto-Mate

Still having connectivity issues...app connects with dongle automatically only about 70% of time. When connection is lost, most effective way to re-establish connection: Auto-Mate -->app info-->force stop. Then restart Bluetooth and activate Bluetooth connectivity on dongle. I still need to spam the Connect Manually button in the app, but it usually eventually reconnects.
