I get everything connected and it works for about the length of 3-4 songs and then I get a restart connection message. It will clear immediately but the screen freezes and I can’t use the touch screen. Only way to get it running again is to shut the car off and back on and then I can use reconnect but it’s rinse, repeat and freeze.

Per the install guide, tap the upper left corner (where the clock is) 5 times fast to restart the app. Also try restarting your phone and ensure your phone's wifi hotspot is turned off.
