Had the EVplay installed for around 3 days so far... Multiple times after the car sitting in High temperatures the Evplay wont pass the Rivian UI...It remains black with neither side loading.
So far it has taken multiple pushes of the toggle to get the unit to pass any video! Also worth noting that once the image does come back up the display (Evplay UI) is totally unresponsive to touch input.
Eventually everything catches up and starts working again but the black out screen is not encouraging!
I also have had multiple instances of the wifi dongle grabbing my phone wifi connection when the unit/vehicle should be asleep.
Not certain I dont have some type of power issue that is leading to the EVplay not sleeping.

Sounds like one of the power connections (specifically the red wire) is not in the right spot. If you exit your vehicle, the Android computer and AA/CP should completely power down after about 5-8 minutes. If it has been longer than that and it is trying to connect to your phone for AA/CP, something is not connected correctly, or something is keeping your vehicle awake.
A good test is this: Set EV Play in a position where you can see the fan spinning & internal flashing lights. Sit in the back middle seat (which doesn't have any pressure sensors) and lock the doors. A few minutes later the fan should stop spinning and the lights will stop flashing. If it doesn't, re-check your fuse/connector taps are where they are supposed to be.
NOTE: If you have electrical outlets turned on, your car doesn't go to sleep when you exit, and thus EV Play will similarly, not go to sleep.
@evplayadmin I haven’t had a moment to dig in but I have seen that the CarPlay wifi network does sleep and isn’t visible when the car is sleeping.
a new wrinkle I’m experiencing is the auto brightness on the Rivian UI throws an error and won’t function correctly.
prompting a service vehicle soon error on the entertainment display.
I’m having real issues with my unit. The can bus side of things is out of whack. Attached is a photo indicating I’m in reverse on the driver screen, but the evplay is still showing drive.
I also noticed that my unit is have issues with the power logo in the top right of the screen. Battery with a question mark logo.

Yes, known bug and working on a fix (check the list of known bugs section of the forum).
The battery is for EV Play, not the vehicle. The icon is being removed in the next OS release.
