I installed the new app and watch app yesterday, and again can't switch to EV Play today. Will see if it fixes itself or if I have to disconnect the power again. Either way, the issue seems to persist.
This fixed the issue I was having as well, but boy, it was a chore. I had to crawl under the passenger side and try to unplug the EVPlay, but I had it all zip-tied in there but I finally got the connector out with a knife, waited a couple seconds and plugged it back in. The switch button still didn't work although my phone did connect to CarPlay. Tried a bunch more times and still didn't work. Tried to unplug the other connector with the two red/black wires but I couldn't get it apart. Finally realized that I could unplug the wires from the fuse box side instead which was much easier. After doing that and waiting a minute, I could finally switch back to the EVPlay and then install the update.
But then had trouble where I couldn't login because I had to create a new account for the forums which then reset the password I was using for the other half of the EVPlay site. Had to dig through emails to find the email where we had to create our account and then reset my password to the same thing I used for the forums. @evplayadmin - I would suggest either sharing passwords between the EVPlay app and the forums, or using a different domain name so that password managers (like Safari) don't overwrite the passwords from both sites. It would also be good to have a way to login and reset your EVPlay app password somewhere on the website instead of having to dig through email.
Thanks for fixing the issue!
